Stay in control with Managed Global Secure Access.

Secure every connection and keep sensitive data protected with Managed Global Secure Access. Put Zero Trust to work across AI, internet and private access, with 24×7 Australian support from Macquarie Cloud Services.

Overview

More access. More exposure.

Your people no longer access everything from inside the corporate network. They’re connecting to SaaS applications, using AI tools and accessing private resources from wherever work takes them. The corporate network is no longer the neat boundary it once was, and there are far more connections to secure.

Traditional security approaches weren’t built for this. Sending traffic back through the corporate network can affect performance, and broad network access can expose resources unnecessarily. Shadow AI and compromised identities make it hard to know who is accessing what, and where your data is going.

Managed Global Secure Access brings access and security controls closer to the people and resources that need them. You can apply Zero Trust principles to each connection, protect sensitive data and reduce unnecessary exposure, while Macquarie Cloud Services takes care of the ongoing management.

Global Secure Access for AI

Put AI to work without losing control.

AI is moving quickly across every part of the business. Keeping up means understanding how it’s being used, protecting sensitive information and making sure the right controls are in place.

Managed Global Secure Access gives you visibility and control over AI use across your organisation, helping you manage Shadow AI and protect sensitive data as adoption grows.

Global Secure Access for hybrid work

Secure work, wherever work happens.

Work happens everywhere now. Your people are connecting from home, heading into the office and getting things done on the road. Wherever they are, they need fast, secure access to the internet and the cloud applications they rely on.

Managed Global Secure Access keeps that access protected without routing traffic back through the corporate network. You can apply consistent security controls wherever people work, while giving them a faster, easier way to connect.

Global Secure Access for Zero Trust

Open up access, not your attack surface.

Your people need quick, easy access to the applications and resources that keep work moving. Traditional VPNs can make that harder than it needs to be, while giving users access to more of your network than they actually need.

Managed Global Secure Access puts Zero Trust into practice, checking each connection and giving people access only to the resources they’re authorised to use. Everything else stays out of reach, reducing your attack surface and providing a more secure alternative to ageing VPN and VDI solutions.

How we deliver it

Secure access, managed end-to-end.

Managed Global Secure Access brings Microsoft’s Global Secure Access technology together with Macquarie Cloud Services’ award-winning security expertise and ongoing management. It gives you one approach to securing internet and SaaS access, private resources and the growing use of AI across your organisation.

Your people get secure access to the resources they need, with Zero Trust controls applied to each connection and stronger protection for sensitive data. Managed Extended Detection and Response (XDR) works alongside it to detect and respond to threats, with 24×7 monitoring from our Australian sovereign Security Operations Centre (SOC).

You get a simpler way to manage access as your environment evolves, without relying on ageing VPNs, routing traffic back through the corporate network or adding another security platform for your team to run.

Microsoft Entra Internet Access is the secure web gateway component of Microsoft Global Secure Access. It uses identity-aware controls to protect access to the internet, SaaS and AI applications wherever people work, without routing traffic back through the corporate network.

Microsoft Entra Private Access is the Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) component of Microsoft Global Secure Access. It gives users identity aware access to specific private applications and resources without providing broad access to the corporate network, making it a modern alternative to traditional VPN-based access.

Global Secure Access requirements depend on the capabilities you want to use and your existing Microsoft environment. Factors include Microsoft Entra licensing, user and device configuration and the Global Secure Access features being deployed. Macquarie Cloud Services can assess your environment and determine what’s required for your deployment.

Global Secure Access licensing varies depending on whether you use Microsoft Entra Internet Access, Microsoft Entra Private Access and other Microsoft security capabilities. Macquarie Cloud Services can review your existing Microsoft licensing and help determine the licences required for the Global Secure Access capabilities you want to deploy.
